About Crafted Carving

I’m Ben — a manufacturing engineer, snowboarder, and the founder of Crafted Carving.

I grew up riding in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (s/o Jay Ski School!), where snowboarding means icy mornings, tight trees, and unpredictable conditions. That environment shaped how I approach both riding and design: performance matters, durability matters, and gear has to function in real-world conditions — not just on perfect powder days.

With a background in engineering and advanced manufacturing, I specialize in designing and producing high-performance snowboard accessories using 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Every product begins as a real problem I’ve experienced on the mountain. I design in CAD, test in harsh conditions, refine the geometry, and iterate until the solution is precise, durable, and purpose-built.

Crafted Carving is my way of merging engineering and snowboarding. I focus on small-batch, performance-driven snowboard gear built for riders who care about carving, edge control, stance optimization, and equipment reliability. No generic designs. No unnecessary extras. Just functional, engineered solutions.

Everything I create is Northeast tested, engineer designed, and built for snowboarders who think critically about their setup and demand more from their gear.
